Reducing PE Waste
As this Gas Distribution Network (GDN) continues to replace old metallic pipes with new Polyethylene (PE), there is a desire to reduce the amount of plastic waste in line with environmental strategies. The preferred output for this call of innovation would be a materials management process and/or a simple method of reusing/recycling/repurposing excess lengths of PE pipe that have been returned.
