Increasing Public Awareness of Street Works
When Utility Companies are required to undertake any form of street works, it results in disruption to customers either by direct interruption to their utility supply or wider disruption to transient customers.
Interruption to supply communications
Customers whose supply will be interrupted throughout planned works are usually informed at least 10 days prior to works commencing. At present, letters are sent to all those that will be affected by the planned works; however, this activity is labour intensive and it is not guaranteed that the letter will be read or understood.
