Ofgem CEO, Dermot Nolan, to give keynote speech at UK Energy Innovation Awards 2019 | Media | Energy Innovation Centre

The EIC are excited to announce that Dermot Nolan, Chief Executive of the energy industry regulator, Ofgem, will be delivering the keynote speech at this year’s UK Energy Innovation Awards evening.


Dermot Nolan joined Ofgem as CEO in March 2014 and has extensive leadership experience in energy regulation, market competition and the protection of consumers' interests. Prior to his position within the regulatory body, he worked as a Commissioner and Chair, at the Commission for Energy Regulation in Ireland.


The 2019 UK Energy Innovation Awards ceremony will be hosted by esteemed British comedian, Hal Cruttenden, at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on 26 September 2019, and will see the unveiling of this year’s winners before the EIC’s industry partners and key industry players.


The awards, which have been showcasing the best innovations within the gas and electricity sectors since 2011, are greatly supported by the industry and offer an unprecedented opportunity for industry leaders and innovators to come together and celebrate the ideas and technologies that benefit customers, the environment, the industry and the supply chain.
