The EIC is delighted to announce that National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) have formally joined the EIC Partnership.
Building on a successful trial, activities will be geared towards increasing collaboration with other utilities and accelerating the discovery, development and delivery of innovation into business as usual; with a key focus on strengthening NGET’s engagement with innovators throughout.
The partnership between the EIC and NGET will work towards a future that provides a decarbonised energy network that is safe, reliable, and resilient, delivering value for customers and society.
The EIC’s Operations Director, Matthieu Michel said:
“We are excited to continue working with National Grid Electricity Transmission, from the opportunity to support and strengthen innovator engagement, to facilitating collaboration across industries as we move into the RIIO2 price control period.
Our community of innovators from around the globe are full of bright ideas. Their diverse range of specialist skills will bring huge value to NGET in the search for innovative solutions that deliver net-zero system capability and improve services for customers and their communities.”
